That was a Mother's Day gift from the wrentham outlet. My avitar has valued machines but I didn't think Dutchy would be right for this site. That thing is incredible. I highly recommend it!

The last batch of crock pot pulled pork I was cooking on the woodstove in the basement, I woke up at 3am and decided to check on it and dropped the lid on the concrete floor  woke the whole house, just missed my toe:faint:

Had a not quite 11 pound brisket from Costco in freezer for a couple months.Took it out yesterday mid morning, with Dewalt 18V sawzall/new demo blade cut off probably 3 pound chunk, put remainder in large plastic bread bag, tied the end tight & back in freezer it went.

Thawed it out,put my usual dry rub on it early today,in the smoker around 845AM,should be good to go around 4-430ish.
Allowing a little extra time cause though its supposed to be around 60 again later today, its cloudy now & gusty south winds have picked up in past hour or so.Now they're talking patchy drizzle for the afternoon, should be OK.its not like its upper 30's with a cold driving rain,I stay inside near the woodburner or in the shop then..... :D

Have a 7 lb. chicken smoking at 225 degrees right now with apple chunks.. New temp control I built is working like a charm with 30 degree and windy ! Final air intake mod on the blower did the trick..
