From this weekend Pork butt after 16 hours Ribs going on but no finished shots, we were hungry lol......
Seeing that pork butt is my go to favorite and basically fool proof...... Has anyone else made it in a "gravy" like you would sausage gravy? I have a couple of times when I was out of sausage, lightly browning the pulled pork in a cast iron skillet in some bacon grease. Hey, when your out of sausage and are jonesing for some gravy....... Now I'm not the most imaginative guy in he kitchen, and there was/is certainly room for improvement in what I'm doing, that's why I'm asking. Any other gravy fans out there with suggestions?
I've been "neglecting" my smoking duties this summer, my house is a basket case of work... I'll catch up with you guy's soon, as the weather breaks cooler. Everyones dishes look fabulous!!! I have two windows left to install, Home Depot has been slow in processing my Andersons. My windows are not in stock and have to be built. If it's any consulation, I did just pick up 120lb of charcoal from Lowes, 40 lbs for $14.99.
Me too. Barely used the grill also. 2 teenage girls kept me very busy this summer. Less than a year till older daughter gets her drivers license. I need the help!
