We buy the pre-patted Johnsonville.... Speaking of which, when did those over sized shrink wrapped hotdog posing as brats things ever become known as “bratwurst?” Not even close to a 5 count flat packed bratwurst. Makes me wonder....
Got up early currently at 172 stall Been easing the full packer along as it’s for a lunch meeting at work Tuesday. The small flat is for us this evening. Coffee chipotle rub, white oak smoke and spritzing of home brew cider as needed

I didn’t get pics of the bacon wrapped shrimp but here is the rest of the meal. The salmon got the salt, pepper and brown sugar brine. The smoker was running lower temp for the fish so I smoked the jalapeño poppers for an hour then put them in the oven at 350. The Asparagus was cooked in cast iron skillets.
I picked up a brisket this weekend for 1.99 a pound. Hell, I bought two. Im going to give it a go the last week of August.
This isn’t grill or smoker related. I’m out of town traveling for work so I am at the mercy of the local restaurants. It’s not like it’s a bad thing though, lobster bisque and mussels.
