A combo mix going in the P68 Northern Max, Matra's, and Lacrete's burning like a champ after a serious OCD cleaning as I thought there was something wrong with the stove. Tore all the covers of the back to see whats happening, pulled the combustion fan and seriously cleaned everything I now had access to having pulled all the covers off. Happy to report all is well with the stove after a few hours of cleaning and overall inspection of everything followed by cleaning. Cheers
I'm still working with the Cubex and very happy , at some point I'll dig into the Engergex softties . Also a big Merry Christmas and Happy New Years to everyone . This has always been my favorite forum
I think I recall you telling me your older home was poorly insulated? My pellet stove downstairs does the job for our entire house. We burn wood upstairs -- more for enjoyment than anything else -- except during the cold snaps when extra heat is always a good thing.
Yes Dot you are correct hence the reason the P43 suffer's with the Okies as my upstairs stove does most of the work. The stove downstairs only keeps a positive pressure in the cellar so the beast on the first floor does not draw cold air from the cellar.
I like 'em... Don't know if there is a better one at this price. If there is, I haven't tried 'em. Dan
Burning through my Okie Golds that I got a couple of years ago. Very little ash with these but they definitely leave the “speed bump” on the Harman burnpot quicker than anything else I’ve burned. Happy New Year to all.
I still have a few of those Golds in the garage. Will eventually see how the TSC MWP's compare to them I'm sure.
Last two bags of 'Sets in the hopper from 4 or so years ago...I'm shedding a little tear over it as I haven't seen them since
Just burning some shoulder bags with the temperature being around 40......last of the inferno golds with some tsc geneva's mixed in
