A combo mix going in the P68 Northern Max, Matra's, and Lacrete's burning like a champ after a serious OCD cleaning as I thought there was something wrong with the stove.

Tore all the covers of the back to see whats happening, pulled the combustion fan and seriously cleaned everything I now had access to having pulled all the covers off. Happy to report all is well with the stove after a few hours of cleaning and overall inspection of everything followed by cleaning.

    Cheers

LaCrete's in the hopper upstairs and the Okie Plats in the poor P43 downstairs

I think I recall you telling me your older home was poorly insulated? My pellet stove downstairs does the job for our entire house. We burn wood upstairs -- more for enjoyment than anything else -- except during the cold snaps when extra heat is always a good thing.

My P61a sends its sympathies to the P43. Fortunately I didn't have to torture mine for too long

Yes Dot you are correct hence the reason the P43 suffer's with the Okies as my upstairs stove does most of the work. The stove downstairs only keeps a positive pressure in the cellar so the beast on the first floor does not draw cold air from the cellar.

    I like 'em...
Don't know if there is a better one at this price.
If there is, I haven't tried 'em.

Burning through my Okie Golds that I got a couple of years ago. Very little ash with these but they definitely leave the “speed bump” on the Harman burnpot quicker than anything else I’ve burned. Happy New Year to all.

I still have a few of those Golds in the garage. Will eventually see how the TSC MWP's compare to them I'm sure.
