    How they burning? Interested since due to pricing not many here have used them in a while. re they worth the premium asking price at lowes?

    Idk yet,there was still some true heat in the funnel.i don't remember how they burn,it's been a couple years.....only bought a few bags to try.

    We usually get 2 cold snaps a year and we're into number two. 24 degrees outside. Supposed to be like this all week. I've got Bears brewin' in da hopper. I've got cherry wood choking in the stove. Life is good.

    hopper is full of MWP softi's. stove is OFF. that ends tonight, as temps will get back to near normal for Feb

    Meant to turn stove off this morning but as I was half way to work, I dont remember if I did or not......I WAS at the stove and I checked the hopper but do not remember turning it off :picard:

    Got home and found I did turn it off but its back lit now as the temps are dropping again and hearing some good wind gusts out there.

    I like how prepared Skeet is. notice the flashlight behind the stove...... course, if the power goes out he can't see it back there.....:whistle:

    burning the three sample bags of NEWP presently. good hard shell, a little auger crunching and a fair amount of fines so far. we'll see how they burn:rolleyes:
