Burning a few bags of the American Wood Fiber's White Pines. Scored some during the Lowes Fire Sales last Spring.

Yep. My mistake. DPOPPS did the review. Gave them 3.5 stars. As I said in my earlier post, I'm really liking them. And I do think they have less ash then Lacrete, fluffy or not. I had a sample bag sent to me last year that I wasn't impressed with. I couldn't understand why everyone was talking so highly of them. I understand now.

Joe doesn't currently carry these but I think they were $279-$289 a ton. IMO, these should be priced between $270-$280 or lower :D

Ok. My dealer sells them for $279, $289 for Lacrete. I plan on buying a ton of these for next year.

 Definitely can't go wrong with them unless they were completely overpriced, which they are not in your case.

Tore the stove apart yesterday and gave it a good cleaning including breaking it loose from the stove pipe stack . Vac'd everything out was a fair amount of light white ash in the pipe, but not surprised with the way I am burning this stove full throttle all the time . Emptied the hopper and load it with 3 bags of FSU and I am completely
thrilled with the results. Cleaned the stove after 24 hours ashes were lighter than anything else but the Geneva and the heat is impressive . I will be picking up a few tons as they have been the most impressive outside of the higher priced Geneva. See how they fare for the next few days going to get a break in the weather in the next week .
Fireside Supreme Ultra burning like a champ .

Lacrete right now, but I'm kind of wishing they were Platinums.
