These went in yesterday. Its been so long since I burned them I thought they were hardwood shoulder pellets. NOPE-they be dam good pellets-look like softies. Hot and clean burning Too bad they arnt around anymore
I've got some Olympus burning these days and it's been pretty nice. Temps are subfreezing outside during the evenings this week and they are keeping us toasty.
Have gone through everything including Vandy Plats , Vermonts, Ambiance, woods & sons, EZ softies, LaCretes so out I went and grabbed a ton of Matra's Both stoves burning Matra's now and for the remainder of the season.
I had LG super premium in the Fahrenheit, never again LG product's and Fahrenheit doesn't make a good combo I switch to Orfords and wow, I've been missing good heat all winter Thank goodness I've been mixing corn to compensate the shortfall Tonight the LG's are in the Harman and it better be roasty in the morning It's nice to shut the stoves down during the day and on only at night only on giving days
Well ran out of Matra's mid week so headed up to TSC thinking I would grab a dozen bags of MWP Nope what they had was dreadful Green Supreme Northeastern blend Been burning premium softies all year forgot what ashy was and man these are ashy, heat is good although so glad its the end of the season and just burning low.
Brrr. Low 40's with wind and rain. Have the stove running. Was so warm in March , lawns were growing. I mowed 2 weeks ago, and the crazy cold and rain has stopped them.
Northern Max They are exceptional as experienced in the past which makes me ponder why others have had a bad experience with them, could it be that I manage to always grab a great bin of these pellets ? The fact that the last 10 bags I burned were the dreadful, ashy, basically horrible green supreme's might weigh in but the heat these produce is amazing and the ash it very low. Anyways hope everyone is doing good and healthy. Stay safe
