If someone only wants one saw that can handle 90% of the firewood out there...the 60 CC class is hard to beat...and weighs 15% about less than a 70cc. I am biased though.

Ok, now look what you guys have done! This is a picture of the back of my mini on the way back to office from lunch!

    -MS 362C-M w/ 20" bar and chain
-Extra 25" bar and 2 25" full skip chains for it
    -Full case w/ 20" scabbard
    -25" scabbard
    -some 3/8" files

Now off to find Mastermind to turn this 362c into a 441!!! :D

    Done! Close the thread! :D

The 362 is a little heavy for its size of power plant (you're welcome Mike) but it is a good saw and should do very well for you!

    Congrats

see this is spot on IMO, but alot of folks want a .30-06 type unit, especially if they're not really into firewooding/chainsaws like alot of forum goers can be...my .02 is all:thumbs:

It only says MS 362C on the case. The C just indicates that there are other features as well, it's not just a straight 362. But your docs will say the exact model, in my case it's a MS 362C-M. The "M" is for Mtronic. Yours will have that too, but it also may have a Q (extra chain brake) and/or an R (wrap handle).

I'm now an independent Stihl product line specialist! :D

Thanks.. your probably right. I got home, and like a kid with candy, didn't even take my work bags out of the car. Unloaded the saw, fuel it up, adjusted the chain, and FIRED it up. 1st pull, it started. That's pretty amazing. I would think it would take a few pulls to pull some fuel into the hoses/carb.... nope.

Runs nice, and feels pretty darn powerfull. I can't see it having any issues with the 25" bar.
