Pork sirloin tip roasts from Costco. I know it's Thursday, but close enough to the weekend ;)

    Fantastic looking dinner right there!

I should have left weekend out of the thread title. I was hoping it would turn into a thread where we posted quick pics of dinners if we didn't want a whole thread for a quick meal. Post away anytime!

Yes. We took them over to the neighbors' to eat. She had a bowl of applesauce she had just made, and that's what I did with mine.

They're wonderful people. I built a workbench in the garage today, and he was there most of the day to help. So I thought I should thank him.

This is the second time I've cooked these. Because they are so lean, I was a little concerned that they would be dry, but this cooker does such a good job of keeping moisture in. About 1:45@350 got it to 155, wrapped them in foil and let them rest for about twenty minutes. Couldn't have been much better.

I suppose being injected and vacuum packed helps a bit. I've figured out I have to take that into account when seasoning. It's easy to get too salty.

That's some good lookin pork Jeff. Speaking of pork, I just threw a 7lb shoulder on the smoker. Kind of a late start but with any luck I'll be able to have a pulled pork sammy before I go to bed.

Ready and waiting. Still debating on cooking the big one longer or splitting it in half. Leaning towards the latter. It's a fat one.

I can't make this crap up..... I am standing in the drive way grilling and 6 does, an 8 point buck, and a 4 point walk out of the woods and are eating acorns 25 yards from were I am standing. They were out there a good 25 minutes and didn't seem to care at all that I was taking photos.
