Here's a "I know what I got" seller.... LOL. I offered $20, it's been on Facebook for a few months. Here's the seller's response... "Definitely more then being worth $20. Especially considering a bundle at albertsons is about $6.50 and a bundle typically contains 7-12 pieces. In the picture theres easily over 12-25+ bundles. Meaning at least a minimum of $60 (assuming $5 a bundle & theres 12 bundles) up to a minimum of $125 assuming theres only 25 bundles. So thats $50 to 115 more then your original offer. If needed be, we will keep the wood instead of being screwed out of money."
For those that frequent Marketplace, this is like the person offering free "river stone" but you have to dig up the stone from their yard.... hehe
I see plenty of them post pics of standing/blown over trees and you get the wood for free if you come and cut it. I dont mind cutting up downed trees, but wont clean it up for free.
I was thinking of your bargaining skills today when I went through the 70% off bin at Home Depot today!
Like the guy in Northhampton that thought Joe and I were going to cut down and winch his trees up a 30 foot ravine.
