No doubt. There is a bit of a movement around my area to get rid of yard apple trees because of the bear problem. When I see people talk about cutting down the trees I jump right in and offer to cut them up. Sadly Ive offered this twice and not one reply back. Maybe they all of a sudden recognize the value of it because I want it. Ive had it a few times and burned 2 year dried apple at christmas. I have a bunch that I will keep only for the bbq since its so valueble. There are a few members here that are awash in apple wood. Im so jealous!

Who am I to judge? I think it's time for me to tip a few back.

I love Hackberry. It's way underrated in my opinion. I always have allot of hackberry on hand every season. Easy to find, easy to cut and limb, no problem splitting with a hydraulic splitter, dries fast, good BTUs, what's not to like?

Sure, why not? Hopefully Aaron Rodgers passing the CT/ BS scan, me moving another row of my tree service freebies down to the stacks, and 10 work days left that I have to work this year.

    About 20-25 lemons (squeezed)
    2 cups white sugar
Either water or tea can be used to dilute but the final part of this can help.
    Stir this together.

    2 cups of cognac
    2 cups of rum(Meyer’s)
    2 cups of peach brandy
Pour over a block of ice and serve in a punch bowl. Ice helps dilute while chilling drink.

One of my favorites. Holiday only. You can alternate the booze levels keeping the ratios stable as you can for taste. Not too lemony. Keep it outside in the snow if you can, I would end up pouring in a growler after finishing and set it outside during cold spells like we got going now. A glass or two while you’re stoveside or grilling....

Looks like the recipe goes back a ways. Philadelphia Fish House Punch
While this is a tad different, it's close enough to try before you make a tin of the recipe you listed.

It seems to me that the "Nutella Fudge Tree" is pretty prolific in some parts of Virginia!

The browns played very well that game. They've played well a lot of the games this year.

Kizer threw for 3 TD's, the most ever by a Browns rookie
Crowell had 121 rushing yards, and Josh Gordon is back. The defense has been playing well too.

The real reason it's a big deal is that by winning, the Packers are still in contention. Bigger than that is that Aaron Rodgers is eligible to return this week, pending test results that we'll know tomorrow.
