What UTV do you recommend? Why?

I am leaning towards Kawasaki Mule, Polaris Ranger and similar. Doesn't seem to be many used mules around here locally but am not adverse to driving a ways for the right one. One feature that would be necessary is the flat bench seat and either gas (preferable) or diesel, not interested in electric. 4 WD would be OK but not sure how often it may be required. So, not stuck on those manufacturers only. One son found a great buy on a older Club Car with diesel but it is a bit on the loud side and really can't converse when running. It does sip fuel though and it has the guts to go just about anywhere.

Unlike y'all in the northern climes we only get a snow about once a year and then not much and our 75+ acres while not flat would be easily negotiated except in really, really wet muddy conditions in 2wd but locking differential could be handy.

Don’t have one and don’t plan on buying one, but the mule seems to have a very reasonable price point from what I have seen compared to some of the other popular name brands

Well, since I was the one who started this party I owe everyone an update to close it out! (Personally don’t like it when the OP just disappears )

Anyway, finally found a well cared for preowned Kawasaki 4010 with 4wd and locking differential that while not inexpensive was less than new pricing.

I think it will serve our needs well…not a fast machine but being within a couple months of being 72, slower is much more preferable.

Really wanted a Gator but just couldn’t locate the right one to investigate that wasn’t 4 hrs away or brand new $$

OK, Here it is….Only issue is that I’m a Clemson fan and the Gamecock color scheme sure is hard to look at. Driver is oldest grandson just back home for good after 6 years serving in USAF. Oldest son called me on the way home and said that I’d better pick up a couple rattle cans of orange on the way home

You could probably get that hood wrapped for a decent price if you really don’t like the color.
