I haven't quite reached "hoarder" status, I don't think,, The deadbeats wear me out sometimes too. I keep a lock on my wood shed for a reason. My neighbor, One Eye Injun Ed, won't get in the truck to cut wood except maybe,,maybe once a year, this year twice,,it's a record!! He aint ever earned the 1st stick that went on his wood pile. Ol' Injun Ed came around panhandlin' wantin' a "couple arm loads" to get him thru as I was unloading, splitting, stacking a load off the truck,,I busted a couple pieces of Poplar and tossed those to him...he grabbed a couple pieces of soft Maple and I sent him home,,told him I'm cutting tomorrow, get in the truck,,he never showed up,,He can burn L.P. gas..
You got it TC! I'd see that… and raise you a $100 !!! If it was me, it would have to be a price that was a LOT more than what they could buy it else where. And, I'd tell em that I didn't sell firewood usually anyway. That way… if anyone "feels bad" for a guy who didn't get his arse back behind him earlier (get his own firewood) and sells him a little… you'll "feel better" all the way to the bank… (and, there are always exceptions) … …………………………………
