Yeah it is, it works for more than just the motorcycle :), I have used that for transmissions and gas tanks, comes in handy
I just pull the splitter up on it , strap it down , raise it to a comfortable height and away I go .
Right now I have the motorcycle lift with the splitter on it out in the backyard on a heavy-duty platform , I don't even put it in the shed, I just leave it there and cover it up with a tarp , so all I have to do is string the cord and go to work .

    MasterMech,
That Iron and Oak of yours has one of the most open loading area's I've seen besides the Ariens I have. Most of the other units seem to have the axel/wheel right smack in the way.

Been getting the job done for 30 years. Just split it on the ground, no lifting of rounds required.

I have a very effective, fuel efficient, low maintenance model but it can only split vertically. And the engine is re-fueled with BEER after the splitting is over (I still have all my toes).

What's the deal with the multiple wedges? Built for boiler wood and repurposed or multi position?

My FIL God rest his soul built this. I repowered it with electric and added the entrance ramp and pallet work table.

The first wedge you see there is a 12" wedge... The second piece of stock is a support for the 4 and 6 way that drop in between them.
