    The cottonwood I have been burnin this past fall and this spring smelled bad when I split it 2 years ago but now I don't notice any smell from it .
    Seems like the bugs really like to hang out on it for some reason so ,I only bring in the house what's going directly in the stove
    It puts out good heat but don't last very long , some of the time that's what you want.

    Thats a lot like ours. Bugs in the bark of cottonwood. Its the pill and sow bugs I find a lot of.

    A few of those but beetles and flying millers or whatever they are , the cat likes them to chase em get em and eat em

    Wasps can take a hike. They are garbage collectors but those stingers are just bad news bears.
