What I noticed about new walk-behind mowers

9 MPH and can get so close to things very trimming required.


But isn't safe on the steep ditches I do. but the HUSKY AWD drive works fine there.

Mow your lawn as well as twitch firewood out of the woods!

 

That would GREAT on my .20264 acres.

 

I bought a used BSC 2 Wheel tractor with a lawnmower attachment and a rototiller for $500 for my father. It was a good deal granted, but that is about as robust walk-behind lawnmower as a person can get. I say that because for those that do not know these machines, they have dozens of gears, posi-traction, and individual wheel clutches. That is saying nothing about the 30-40 attachments they have for these things. It took $150 to rebuild the clutch and replace some stuck cables honestly, but if a person with only a few acres, these things would work wonders.

Heck, I even like their 4 wheel articulated tractors (but would have to cut off their ugly ROPS bar though).

 

That BSC stuff is some premium equipment for sure. Care for it properly and store it out of the wearther and it should last a person a lift time.
