What have you won/found?

Back in November my neighbor south separated from the wife,she moved out & their 4yr old daughter lives with her.Dont think they're getting back together last I heard.He's selling the house,had been moving his stuff out over the past 3 weeks.Finally house is empty now.

Their 7yr old male was an abandoned stray as a kitten & they basically adopted is quite friendly & spent 20% of his time over here in the past 5-6 years -they both told me in late November that I could keep him,since I'd been looking after/feeding him since late October while they were gone so much & having the family issues.Gets along great with my 19yr old male cat,they really bonded in the last month.Poor old guy was lonely over the summer since his half brother died last January.

Friday night when he was cleaning up the last of the stuff in garage & basement told me I could have all the cans/bottles piled up over the past year or so. Cashed them in Sat afternoon - $35 worth!! Plus he had a early-mid 70's very heavy Craftsman (made by Rockwell Delta) 10" Contractor's Table Saw with 1980's massive Biesmeyer 53" T Square Fence/Outfeed Table set up.Motor needs new cord (part including the plug was cut off years ago),the entire saw & especially the cast iron table needs a good cleaning.All the controls work properly.Had a mid-late 90's high dollar Systi Matic carbide tipped 50 tooth combination blade on it,with minor surface rust,all teeth are sharp & undamaged.Same blade that I already bought new years ago.I'm keeping it for a spare.

His brother was given the saw 3-4 years ago & parked it in garage "temporarily for a few days". He never removed it & there it sat on the partly dirt/concrete floor. I don't need another saw & sure don't have room for it,but am sure I can get $100-150 easily for it as is.In my backyard driveway now covered with a tarp.Way too heavy/awkward for me to move by myself,so I phoned my 23 yr old weightlifter nephew Sat afternoon,he came over & in less than 5 minutes we carried it over here.

Havent taken pics yet but hope to in a few days after getting caught up with other stuff.

 

True story just happen. Friday we had a shop that found a wedding ring in a box of wax worms(16oz.cup) that we had sold them the week before. I called our supplier and asked them if anybody had lost a ring, they immediately hollered out "Ralph they found your ring!!" They had been looking all over for it. Got it returned to Ralph today. The ring had taken a 300 mile round trip!

The mrs put my name in a drawing for a craftsman tool box without me knowing. We were at a sears store and she said "hey throw your name in there" i said "nahh i never win anything". So she slipped my name in while i wasn't looking. Got a call the next day saying "you won the toolbox!" .. At first i was questioning what the phone call was about haha

 

After a few days of careful deliberation I've decided to keep it instead of selling.....Put a new cable on the motor today,purrs like a kitten. Very heavy duty Baldor Industrial 2HP motor that runs perfectly.I'll sell some other stuff,move things around to make room for the beast in the shop hopefully by Spring/early Summer.Much heavier duty unit than the 17yr old DeWalt Jobsite Table Saw I bought new.

 

That must have cost ya.

we scuba dive in the local indoor pool in the winter sometimes, wife found a diamond earing. It is still sitting in the cup holder of my truck since last year. might find out what it is worth someday.
