I don't normally use klotz. I tried a quart of R50 here recently. I'll get a picture of the piston top in the 046 shortly for those that like that stuff. I didn't notice any problems with build up from original techniplate. I like maxima K2 the best out of all the others I've tried for milling and the whole works. Burning a tank of fuel in 5' of cut on a log is putting a lot of fumes out. The motul 800 is a little strong as was the R50.

I have some bel ray to mix next at the recommendation of randy. I mix now at 32:1 use to mix at 40:1 and may go back. I may use 5 gallons a year but that was before the 650!!.

Even at 32:1 you dont really smoke

Amazon has the Lucas oil for the same price, free delivery. Or $27 for a gallon.

As are some of the best performing oils out there...
I'm a full synthetic fan too, but this stuff has gotten some good reviews..

That looks awesome! Like that one even better!

The only thing is, the "funnel" shaped ones are a bit more accurate on the low end, like 1/2 gallon, 1 gallon and 2 gallons because of the shape of it...

I wish they would make a bottle like the one you linked, except put the markings from the top down instead! This way you can fill the bottle with oil, then poor out down to a particular line...

I use a bottle that has a cap. I use it for premix I g my boats and for yard 2 stroke. I never mix in less than 2 gallons so its fine. Pour oil in and then fill with gas and pour in tank then refill with gas and swish around then fill tank with amount of glass wanted. I do t worry if I overfill a bit of oil...wont hurt anything

I've been using one of these lately with some 1/4" vinyl tubing jammed on the end to reach the bottom of qt bottles.
