I'm named after the kids game. Very original I know.

Years upon years of hiding in closets, under beds and other dark areas scaring children. I got out of that business because I couldn't take the extreme amount of crying and offended nature of the millennial age group.

    Now I just scare trees

The name actually comes from my old duck hunting days. I used to be obsessed with blending in with the surroundings. Whether we were hunting fields or water, you weren't going to see me sticking out decoys or on the edge of the water.
That obsession carried into deer hunting also and the name of the game for me was to get as close to deer as possible without getting busted. Ive been slacking off in the past couple years with that though as I've become more lazy and have much less time to work with now.

Trail twister, Spent my 20's and 30's rideing dirt bike trails, have did the cross Michigan trail that the Michigan cycle conservation club worked at getting.
Also bought my first snowmobile in 1971, bigger one in 1972 and a smaller one a Mercury Sno Twister in 1974, Mercury had a trail sled in 1976 called the Trail Twister so I sort of decided I liked that name.

I also started running trails when it was raining and other wise bad weather with a CJ 5 jeep, today I have a 85 CJ 7.
Still snowmobile but have put the dirt bike aside and gotten an ATV.

    :D Al

This just brought some great memories of sledding in the 70's:) Never had a Merc but my family had pretty much everything else from an Evinrude Bobcat, Snow Cruiser, moto ski, Arctic Cat, John Deere and many ski doo's.

A beast of a half boiler from one of the naval ships here in Bremerton was brought home by my dad, put in at Ocean Shores for a firepit. One day, a friend was with us and considered a name for this, since it was somewhat short and squatty, fat...FatBoy, 85 being the year I was born. One of these days I will get a proper picture. Seems like I just can’t find one and it’s been awhile since I took a picture of just that thing.

A long time ago in my virgin forum days I joined a gardening forum that traded heirloom vegetable seeds just to do some seed trading. During the process of joining I think I put a couple letters and numbers in as a screen name thinking I could change it afterwards - well I thought wrong. For the life of me I can't remember the forum or screen name. So reflecting back, when joining AS quite a few years ago I tried to put some thought in a screen name. I kind of wanted a name which was a bit different, looked like a first and last name and had some correlation to chainsaws and firewood. ChipsFlyin is what I came up with and have been using on the related forums ever since.

Name is Mike and last name starts and ends with S. Also my Camaro is an SS.
Depending on the site, there may be a "." between the e and the S. And you will recognize the avatar ;)
