According to their phone number they are made about 60 miles north of me. Looks good but the $2500 scares me a lot.

This is how I bring wood to the house. The only problem I've had so far is that the wife doesn't like it when I go through the living room with it so now I have to stop at the porch.

I use my truck to bring a year’s supply under the deck right outside the basement door. Then I bring in armloads at a time as needed. Kids help too.

95 Chevrolet gets it from the pile in the backlot to the steps of the deck. Then up 4 steps, then probably 15 feet from the door to the basement steps and down to the stove with these plastic totes CD13F265-1858-42A5-9C33-95447D64A3D2.jpeg

got a piece of 1/4” plywood in each to protect the bottom. I like the green one best. Stuffed full is all I want to carry. They seem to last about a season. The pile behind them is almost a 3 week supply

My stove is two steps from a glass slider onto the deck. Have a wood rack that holds about ¼ cord. Only bring in a day or twos worth at a time.

To get it to the deck from the big stacks, I either use a gorilla cart which works awesome, or if there’s significant snow, my ice fishing sled.

Little Man loves to help get wood!

I was considering one of these but can’t decide if that or they’re regular yard cart would be best for moving firewood. I have an outdoor stove so it takes a bit of wood to fill it which made me think the yard cart might be better but who knows.

Check out the gorilla carts at home depot. They have good ground clearance, operating height, can carry a lot and can dump. Very happy with mine.

Definitely two totes if you are using them. Fill them about 2/3 full. Don’t over stuff. You are still carrying more than if you have one tote. It keeps the load balanced and is much easier on your back.

LogOx makes a pretty cool sling. I haven't used it myself but it seems pretty cool. It's a bit pricey but their stuff is high quality. I have a large wood rack in my house so I use a hand truck which is pretty nice on the back.
