    Still alive...Of course my friends, she never even saw the bucket and mop because last Christmas I bought her a broom and she flew away looking for Dorothy!!:p

    It's a 90° turn. How do you get the shop vac through that? I suppose I could just get the end of hose in a little ways. But there is no way of telling what is there and how much of it you got. I will probably remove chimney on outside on Thursday. The chimney is only about 4 ' on the vertical outside run. It should be nice and cold that day! -15 to -20 below. Sounds like loads of fun!:zip:

    I have a smaller shop vac so my hose would probably make it through but if you have a full size one, I don't think it would make that bend.....

    How many mounts do you have holding the external vertical vent?

    Just loosen the clamps/mounts and rotate the Clean out T and 4 section off (all in one piece), or a small 1 3/4" Shop vac nozzle should make that little turn up and over into the horizontal (yes, through the clean out T).

    We don't do presents for each other...She pretty much buys whatever she wants and I am happy with my usual nothing LOL
