You know way more about it than I do haha. This is all new to me and I only figured out the part about heating in the winter cause I asked them about it. It sounds like quite the process though.

I worked in a family business that started out with a quick print shop (letterhead, envelopes, all that stuff) and then added a t-shirt shop (screen printed transfers) and then added advertising specialties which other bigger companies did for us, we then added embroidery machines with a three head Brother 423 being our biggest but like most small towns that had three industries with only one left, we went 29 1/2 years and then shut it down in 2015.

Retired but still wondering how we got everything done when we worked. If the doc told me tomorrow that I only had X amount of time left, I could never complain about the life I've had.

    Self employed for 31+ years.
Went to vocational school to be a carpenter. Dad owned a small roofing business and i worked a couple Summers and after high school for two years. He retired. Took over the business at age 20 and worked pretty much full time at it until a few years ago when i sold my house and the stress of being a one person operation got to be too much. Dad passed in 2010 and it was one thing we had in common was roofing. Mid life crisis hit too. GF and i rent a nice house out in the woods.
I do some carpentry/roofing /exterior work still, small scale. Retired contractor friend gives me a lot of hours helping him. Some odd jobs as well. I sell firewood and do some chain saw work. Started dabbling in selling coins in 2008 as im a 30+ year numismatist. So between the three i squeeze out a living.

My grandpa and I bought and sold coins (mostly bought) for many years, back when the state quarters were first introduced we would buy mint uncirculated rolls from all the mints. Made a lot of state sets out of them. It was a lot of fun mostly spending time with him, but making a little coin at the same time!
Wheat pennies, Mercury dimes and Walking Liberty halves are my favorites!

What is the difference between a lawyer and a catfish? One is a pale, slimy, whiskered, stinky bottom feeder, and the other is a type of fish! This is one of the true stories!

What's difference between a dead lawyer on the road and a dead raccoon?

I'm a mechanical project engineer, I manage the technical side of heating, ventilation and various other mechanical systems in large commercial buildings (known as HVAC over the pond I believe). I love it - getting to see large systems go from schematics and drawings into operation is very rewarding and brings many challenges along the way

Guess you could say I'm either retired or a househusband or something like that. I got hurt in the army and they wouldn't let me reenlist and put me on disability. Wife lady works for DHS and I take care of the house. I keep telling her I'm going to make a good wife someday.
