They are oak in the color “graphite” with a vintage finish where they rub the edges and corners with a black accent
Sinks in! Waiting on the quartz guy to measure this week. Talk about nerve racking!! Had to cut the front out of the sink base to slide the sink in!
Sorry I’ve been slacking on the updates! Got the tops installed two weeks ago. Finished the trim and the chalkboard project over thanksgiving weekend. Had to order tile for the backsplash.
Tile came in yesterday so only one thing to do today... get it set!!! Hopefully I can put some grout to it tomorrow and call it done!!!
When we moved in there was coat racks where the chalkboard is and I could never get the drywall to fill right. So we decided it would be fun for the boys as well to write groceries and stuff on. During this remodel I tore it down and made a new one. It’s actually a piece of hardboard with chalkboard paint on it!
Great looking install J. Dirt ! I like the abbreviated corners at stove and coffee maker (high traffic?). Plenty of power over the counter. The six panel door is perfect!
I have an idea; on the part that goes around the stove to close off the fireplace opening (don't know the term) what do you think of making one out of say cement board or whatever material would be suitable and take the hearth tile up around the stove instead of the current black surround. I just think that would add some bit of extra to the fireplace. Just an idea.
The corner cabinets were the design guys idea and I liked it since it made best use of a small space. I kind of wish the one corner upper was a bit smaller, but more room for stuff I guess
