I am still in Judges bk 7 OT Trying to beat it in my skull and

 

there is a lot in Judges that makes we wonder why it was written in there. At times it reads a lot like our world today so I guess it is the example of what not to do.

Our Pastor said the key phrase in Judges is the last verse in Judges 21: 25

25 In those days Israel had no king; everyone did as they saw fit.

Without Jesus as King in our hearts, we fall into the same situation.

Left Leviticus and went into Joshua. This quarter we are studing the book of Joshua at Sabbath School

 

Ephesians 6:18 pray in the spirit all the time and pray for the believers

 

I'll play along. Maybe this'll get me opening it up more. I randomly opened It today and came to Isaiah 42, specifically 42:6.
