How could I have missed Bela Fleck?! See. There are just too many for this old brain to remember.

Yep. They were a riding the downtown "circuit" band. I left them behind when I started following the Dead in the early 80's.

Aerosmith-- the one band that makes my skin crawl. Not sure why, but I think it's mostly their singer.

I go in streaks in listening to him but SRV is the most incredible guitarist. So clean....so precise.

The man switches out a guitar without missing a note. Fun to watch people with such amazing talent.

Being I was a teen in the late 70's & have 2 older brothers/2 older sisters my varied musical taste reflects most anything from the 50's to the mid/late 80's.Some of the early-mid 90's stuff is OK,cant stand rap,hip hop or anything rap-metal however, its nauseating IMO

Anything from Elvis,The Beatles,The Stones,The Who to Hendrix,Zeppelin,Pink Floyd to Deep Purple,Black Sabbath,Bob Seger,Van Halen/Hagar (seen both versions couple times each) Rush,Queen,,a chitload of the old blues artists up to ''modern'' day greats like SRV & Johnny Winter (RIP,seen them both once each also) not to mention AC/DC,Guns N Roses & Motorhead (Lemmy RULES!!!) :dex:

And also stuff my parents listened to like the great Dean Martin & Frank Sinatra :smoke:

And I still have a special place in my LP/CD collection for ''old school'' country like Johnny Cash,Willie Nelson & Waylon Jennings. And a little classical/opera like Pavarotti,it really relaxes me after a busy tiring day.

Yup. Most of you guys are hitting on stuff that I listened to as well. I forgot everything from AC/DC,to Black Sabath to Phil Collins/Genesis, Supertramp. How did I forget The Slow Hand man himself Clapton? I need to buy some more concert music videos or whatever you call them. Fun to watch in the middle of winter when the wind is howling outside and the fire is roaring inside. :fire:
