I like SRV's version a lot more. I think he's has a more precise and cleaner way of playing than Jimi.

I could not agree more. Definitely check out the Kenny Wayne Shepherd version, as well. That dude is a freaking genius!

Wow, two Metallicas back to back. I like that song. Metallicas ride the lightning for me right now. Nothing like a little bed time music :dex::dex::dex:

Larry McNeely, a wunderkind in the '60s on the banjo played a guitar. He dropped out of the music scene after being a worshiped picker. Watch what he did at the age of 18 or so. I understand he's running an antique business today and has given up professional musicianship, despite early success and huge demand. Click on it again if it doesn't come up

Watched this guy play in a basement tonight in a small town here in Michigan. Friend of a friend of a friend kinda thing. Super nice and talented guy.

This song was in a Chicago Fire episode.

And he works for a tree service to pay the bills. After a close call a couple years ago, and small kids at home, he doesn't climb anymore.

I bet the first time Art Garfunkel heard this version, his first thought had to be "oh, yeah"... this is really worth seeing/hearing.
