I have a ticket and trip planned for their show in CT tomorrow night. :( Hopefully Perry sleeps it off and they continue shows. It wouldn’t surprise me if that was the last show though. Fingers crossed.

First heard this tonight.. it resonates with me.

I am a better man through my life with Jill, and now I worry about returning to poor decisions I used to be/make.

Brother, you know which one to feed, which person do you like best, the one before Jill or after you met/married Jill?
I pray JESUS walks with you, guiding you and helping you make the right decisions.

Did you ever find a song via watching a movie? I first heard this tune while watching Empire Records from 1995. Soon after I bought their album. These guys and KMFDM were a couple of groups that I didn't personally know anyone else who listened to them.

Empire Records is a decent movie, by the way. Very 90ish. lol

Lots of memories watching these guys.

Can’t listen to those w/o thinking directly of the movie/show.

The controversial 1995 movie Kids, song at the end:

There were lots of obscure songs on that soundtrack...

I will often profess that "Kenny Loggins wrote the soundtrack to my childhood". I was onto Daftpunk sortof early after hearing a track of theirs on Daria back in the day and then seeking out the source. They blew up soon after. I actually used to watch movie credits so I could find out who wrote the music.

This morning Lionel is singing one of my favorite 80s songs. Hard to be negative when this one plays.

Edit: I've been watching Miami Vice on Amazon lately. Last night had a long montage at the end with What's Love Got To Do With It. Tubbs had just had to end a relationship with a drug lord's daughter after Sonny ventilated him in a dramatic scene. Showed the duo cruising on a speed boat over rough water while Tubbs had flashbacks of his relationship and how it ended. I give it a solid 8.5/10 as far as 80s Montages go! :dex:

There was only a small club of my peers who saw this. My description of that movie is: disturbing, but necessary.
