Swapped dad turntables for fathers day gift. I’m spinning his old one and . I think it sounds better than my Technics! First spin was a record I will always remember him from. John Hartford's Mark Twang. Then the last one I played on the B&O. Sounds incredible.
Went to a record show with my friend Mike, my wife and son. Scored some good records! I’m a big Rush fan. Top 5 all time favorite bands. My son bought 3. 5 Finger Death Punch, Deftones and Limp Bizkit. This is just translucent red, my felt slip mat is yellow/black with that pattern.
Wife picked this one at the show. It sounds awesome. Finally listened last night. And bought a couple more yesterday. Probably not everyone’s cup of tea, but it’s my fav album from the band. Pretty cool colors. Had to break this one out too. My best sounding record. It gives goosebumps. And, the Sonic clean was soo good, I went ahead and jumped in. Still researching chemicals to add to the water so no experience.
It got good recognition but I feel this album is still under rated. Unique sound, clever lyrics, good vibes.
Have never called myself a fan of Carlos Santana. Yep, stellar guitar player. Radio ruined it for me because they needed to play his songs 3 times an hour, every hour. This one however...pure bliss.
