What are you listening to right now?

This gives me nostalgia for two reasons. The movie it was in was a childhood favorite. I have fond memories of being in Choir during elemetary school.
Just a good and positive song.

 

Outstanding effort considering they don't have Michael McDonald to back the lyrics. My ear says their instruments are spot on.

 

At work, someone in the shop was blasting Helmet's album "Meantime" on their stereo. That one took me back.

I enjoy Jerry's guitar and lyrics.

 

I need to pick up some of his records for sure.

 

He's held in vert high regards as a picker. I went in deep on a few Country guitarists a couple years ago. Glenn Campbell, Chet Atkins, Roy Clarke (my favorite), and Reed.

Glenn & Roy have the most out & out talent (IMO). Roy could play anything with a string on it (banjo, fiddle, guitar) and play it better than most anyone. Glenn is the epitome of technical.
