I’m in the black shirt w/ red star (it’s a Primus tribute to Rush’s 2112 album) Stunning show. Larry, on guitar, was on fire all night. We were 3rd row. Plenty close! This is one of the songs they rarely play live (contains an F bomb): Best Primus show I’ve seen and probably will ever see. Played 2 sets and an encore.
That time of year again (next Saturday) for a few buddies and I to catch Clutch when they come trough on their tour. Usually they play a show in Minneapolis/St. Paul or in the Green Bay area(either can be done in a couple hours), but not this year. Gonna be a decent road trip.
We got tickets for DC Sept 7th at The Anthem. Rival Sons is opening. Never heard of them. And got another round of VIP’s when Primus comes to that same venue in Aug.
Dude at with plays x-ray visions to the point I don’t care if I ever hear it again. It’s too bad cuz I liked it before. Softwood enjoy! It’s been a while since I have been to a show with anybody but my wife. Those days were fun from what I can remember!
Heck yeah! Hopefully you like the Blast Tyrant album,I think I've read/heard they are just going to be playing songs off that album on that tour. (And Rival Sons are just playing songs of one of their albums also). On that tour they actually play in Green Bay at a cool smaller venue, but it's during bear season and I do have my priorities..
Haha, tell him they have like 13 albums, it's okay to play a different one of their songs.. Yeah it's about my one time a year that I get to go let er rip without the wife. We're in our 40's now but we'll still pretend we're in our early 20's. Too bad I don't recover like a 20 year old anymore though..
