You gotta wait 'til almost the end of the song, and then you only get four measures of that sweet Elliot Easton solo, but it's worth it.

Most of the people I work with look at me like I'm an alien when I listen to Tool. Actually so do my Wife and daughters. They just don't understand. I don't look at my wife weird when she listens to a 13 minute Grateful dead song......

Play some "A perfect circle" ,say the Mer de Noms album start to finish for them. It's a great chilling out album. Don't even say what the band is.

I played the full new Tool album in the truck today on the drive up. My wife asked what is this? And I told her. No complaints, no telling me to change it.:thumbs:

Been terribly sick of music lately so a buddy recommended listening to the Bill Burr podcast. He's a little rough around the edges and is all over the board but just fun to listen to, I don't care for the sports talk (I generally hate sports) but even that he makes funny. Even when he does advertisement on the show I bust a gut. If your not afraid of a few "F bombs" and your not easily offended its definitely worth checking out!
Not every episode will have you rolling, so if you get one that's not overly interesting try one more, he talks about everything!

We've been listening to Sam Fender's album a bit. Great album. It's just good solid old school style rock. It's not hard, not in the least. Plus, the whole album is a great one for driving across the country.

We were going to see him in Chicago in a few days since he wasn't coming to anywhere in Wisconsin (just the twin cities and then Chicago) on his tour before his tour goes to Europe, but he had to cancel a few shows due to a throat infection.

So we hope he comes to Wisconsin on his next tour. Unfortunately I guarantee that the next time he tours that the tickets will be a lot more. We could've seen him in Chicago for ~$20 a ticket.

Agreed. The semi-cryptic lyrics, the instrumentation in the background of what's a fairly simple composition...and the guy's voice is interesting and unique.
