I just turned on FOX News. Prayers out to those in Vegas.

 

One of those days....

 

Got the news that Tom Petty passed away today. I have to say it was quite the shocker especially after waking up to the news about Vegas. I think today was definitely a Monday. Ive been a big fan of his for many years. I recently watched a documentary on netflix and learned quite a bit about him. Thanks for the years of great music Tom. Your legacy will live on through your music.

Just spent a week in Vancouver, Canada for the Orthopedic Trauma Association conference. What a fantastic, beautiful city! I got introduced to a pretty fun, tongue-in-cheek song comparing the US to Canada..."Stronger Beer." It seems appropriate for the site-

 

Yesterday actually, but time to spin a few records this morning.

Spent most of the night at work listening to AC/DC on the radio. They were playing a tribute to Malcolm Young who sadly passed away on the weekend. Guitarist and cofounder of the most legendary Australian band.
