Stayed up watching the celebration in New York City. We watched the ball drop, had a few sips of champagne, wished each other a Happy New Year, and then off to say hello to my pillow.
8 below zero here this morning. Dogs went out but were barking at the door within 5 mins.
Now to get ready for another snow storm, nor'easter with blizzard conditions. What other way is there to start the new year.

You got that song stuck in my head. I saw them play a long time ago. Must have been about 1978. Was a good show as I recall.

I did and I was just messing with you. Lived in Pacific Beach from 99 to 04 when I was stationed at MCAS Miramar so that's why I took an interest in exactly what beach it was. One year on Christmas day, I spent the whole day with friends on the beach and called all my relatives and friends in New England and Upstate NY just to let them know that I was spending the day on the beach and it was sunny and 75 degrees. Your daughter is fortunate to be in San Diego and you're fortunate to have someone there so you have an excuse to go. Happy New Year to you!!

Man, I knew we thought alike ! Neil is my favorite by far. Have seen him well over a dozen times-from solo acoustic, solo electric, blues, with backing bands, and of course Crazy Horse.
Harvest Moon was a fantastic followup to Harvest!
