Been pretty busy with work and attending kids ball games. Have only had the boat out a couple times all summer. Only worked out a couple of times, but working keeps me in descent shape. Only CSS a couple times, but my tree cutter connection has dropped off a couple loads so I’m luck to keep up that way. Need to get out to the in-laws farm to bring back a couple loads of 2020-2021 wood. Summer is flying by as usual, school starts in a couple weeks.

    stay busy my friends!

Staying at home this summer so lots of house projects to be doing. Started a garden after almost 8 years of not having one. One big job has been re-organizing my sewing room. I started by data-basing my fabric stash and finding out what I really have. Yikes! Found stuff I have totally forgotten about. When I finish that job, it will be to start on all the UFOs in there. (unfinished projects) RV is still under wraps and will stay that way until next year.

Started trying to get 3 years out. Think I made it to two years out. Was hoping to be a little further out, but it didn't really materialize.
Began running and working out for basically the first time ever.
My firstborn will be here in probably the next week, so a good amount of time has been spent putting the bedroom together for him or her.

Good job getting into a workout plan! Congrats on the incoming baby! So you don’t know the gender yet? That takes commitment. I’d lose my mind waiting to find out.

I hear you there. If my boss had his way I'd never go home because I'd sleep on a cot behind a machine at work. I recently started refusing the overtime and don't feel a tinge guilty about it either. Even if I'm working around the house, it's better than going to work 7 days a week.
-Here's a picture I made a while back of my boss who's last dying thought before he passes away and slips into oblivion will be "I should have spent more time at work" WORK.jpg

did I say how much I hate painting.

That's really cute! How much headroom? Hope your kids don't outgrow it too fast!

8x12 footprint. 8 foot walls, they should be good for a while. My wife is shorter than me so they won’t be basketball players!

And done for today. I’m really regretting saving a few bucks using rough sawn for the trim. It’s not fun to paint. Some what considering ripping it off . Lol 4D112EF5-5E4F-4F9E-8B80-35E74F23971D.jpeg

Never know how tall your kids will be. My ex was 6'2" and I am 5'. My 3 boys: oldest is 6'2", middle is about 5'10" and youngest is 5'4 and 1/2".

I’m 5’6” and my wife is shorter, 8 foot ceiling is plenty for us. I thought about making it small like a hobbit house but then it would loose functionality laster when they are done with it.

The past three days I have been mostly doing some serious splitting, and a little stacking, but mostly tossing into a pile. Lots of stacking to go! 2022-2023 firewood. I am about to start bringing this year's firewood into the woodshed. Oh, I straightened up the woodshed.

Also been gardening (mostly harvesting raspberries), and beekeeping.

Did some repairs to my wood hauler/snowplow, mostly repairing the lights, and the tires. Got new tubes installed in two locking ring wheels for $51! Pretty good deal, if you ask me. I think it will go another winter.

I never ran one before; closest thing to it I had experience on was a forklift. Super easy to operate. Moved some large rocks with it and pulled a couple stumps. I used it to back fill behind the retaining wall I built recently with material from a high spot in my backyard. Graded it, then dumped 4 yards of pool sand down and semi-leveled it. Started putting a cinder block border around it but ran out of blocks. I’ll be back at it tomorrow with more blocks, the final leveling of the sand and hopefully will be assembling the pool by tomorrow evening.
