Deck update: All the joists are in, started working on the rim joists. Tomorrow I'll start popping the old decking off getting ready for the new 2 X 6 material. Still need to build the new stairs and railings. With any luck I'll have a functional deck by the tail end of next week. I can worry about building the walls for the space underneath later in the season. As long as it's done by October I'll be happy enough.

Nice. Yes, you've probably sweated enough with the deck build. Wait on the walls for your storage until it cools off.

Same, need to find another place to stack, my small property doesn't exactly let me keep a lot on hand. And I have about 1 1/2 chord over at my parents house.

Re-stacking after a series of log-o-lanches. I’m hanging in there though, and my stock of stacks is looking good for the next three winters. My neighbors have taken me up on my offer of cherry wood when they BBQ and even send over a couple healthy plates of carne asada with some sides. Delicious and enough food to feed my whole family.
