I also thought about it and the rear O2 upstream sensor had a bad heater in it for like 4 years so I went this mourning and got it to replace while the manifold was off and its easy to get from the top side. IMG_20160103_161907_977.jpg

I got my garage all cleaned up and re organized. Plus I won the final $100 in my fantasy football league at work. I won $350 between last week and this week.

Nice huh? Here's my grandpa's old stihl top handle. I'll give her a rip tomorrow and see if she starts. IMG_20160103_190236988.jpg

If she goes, I'll see how sharp the chain is and cut a few of my long pieces of wood down to 17", or maybe just in half to make it easy. Most of the long pieces are 22-24"

I think scotty has a bunch of those!

I have endended up with three 009 saws. One I bought flipped and ended back up with bit when it was loaned and destroyed. Uses it as a parts unit to fix mine I use. I still have one in a case that I need to fix. I got it for like $25. Gonna use the parts saw to fix the other one.

Cleaned up some saws, sharpened some chains and played with the 288xp today. See how filthy they are.

Just got an 029 Super back together and running . Got it free with a smoked piston worn out bar ,chain ,and sprocket ,leaking fuel and oil ,completely clogged air filter ,trashed muffler ,and a few other things . It is now a 039/390 ,all new lines filters ,b&c (.325 nk 8t sprocket ) ,and whatever else it needed . Turns 13,200 at a slightly fat tune . Painted it black / forest green NATO colors ,then a couple of coats of polyurethane . Pics in a bit . Gonna go play with it .

The carb on my daily use 200T started acting up on Monday. So this morning before I went to work I pulled one off one of the other 200's that is leaking oil and swapped them out. Runs like a champ again.

Sorry. No pics. It was 5:30 and I was just barely awake.

Is that drywall screw in a pic what you used to pull the limiters?

They changed angle of the outlet on that exhaust diverter shield on those aftermarket mufflers.

Yep that's what I used . As to the muffler ,yes it's got a different angle on the diverter than the 029 had . But, I've seen the angled diverter on newr 1127 saws . It and the muffler are also opened up a bit to let the evil spirits escape quicker as well .

Decided to replace the carb on a 028av Super that was given to me. Original owner had it about 25 years and got tired of the blood letting he gets from the local dealer on annual tune ups. Eventually they gave him the "better to just get a new saw" talk and sold him a Homeowner line saw- I think a 211.
I put a piston and rings in it , but could have gotten away with just rings. Carb was finicky, needed adjustments about every time out. Drive sprocket was badly worn so I did a rim sprocket conversion. After a new bar I decided it was time to go all in. I haven't had much luck with rebuilding so I bought a replacement carb. Starts and runs like a charm- hope to get some cutting done this week.[IMG]

I have a Husqvarna K960 cut off saw that I tore down back in November 2015 and installed a new crank shaft, new bearings and seals. Also put new rings on it while tore down.
Then that is as far as I got until today. I put the cylinder back on and got it all put back together. Saw starts, runs and idles good. I just need a diamond blade for it now to cut some concrete.
It took more time to clean all the parts then it did to put them back on.
