Build about umpteen different toys today. It cute the first time they ask daddy to build something with them. After 652 times I'm about emotionally exhausted.

Well this was yesterday but my little boy and I loaded up some .44mag.....well inbetween chasing him all over the house breaks to play or do other things. Maybe sat down for 30 mins or so and actually loaded but on and off for a few hours.

Those who care its 240grn hard cast keith elmer style semi wad cutter over 19-20 grains of H110...light loads. Cci primers but I'm not picky on those.

About 75-80 rounds maybe. Working to fill this can. IMG_20151224_183235_155.jpg

No trimming required. Flip the rounded side down on a plate, put some frosting on and stack the other half on it. The two flat sides are joined in the middle. The writing on top did not go so well...

No, cake was cool. The lettering icing was for cookies. Anyway, it must have been good.

The results speak for themselves. It's all good! I'm no baker, but I did stay at a holiday inn express last night:)

Pretty cool! Sounds like you had a great day! Some day I will work up the guts to try something like prime rib on the smoker. Mainly I stick to pork shoulders. They are pretty hard to screw up. I did country ribs today. They turned out great.:grizz:

I've had this C-72 kicking around for about 9 months now. Gathering dust on a shelf. For some reason, I decided to pour fuel in it and pull the rope. It runs! Don't worry, most of the county heard it fire I'm sure! I'm thinking this one might be my first paint/resto.

Spark plugs on a 3.0L Highlander.

This has to be one of the worst designs ever! Why would you make it where you have to pull an intake to change your back plugs! I know folks say they can do it without but I dont see how. I have as many wobbles or ujoints as the next guy and I couldnt even get the back passenger side out and it would be the second hardest back there. I tried for about thirty mins without success before I pulled the intake. And why put FOUR support bolts on the BACK of the intake!!!! Those could easily be more toward the top of it to aid in getting at them. IMG_20160102_171300_870.jpg

Pretty common stuff these days. Better to pull the intake than to fight it and wind up breaking a plug or cross-threading it on the way back in.

I know there is geometry for air intake but you think they could design it with more of an upward swoop. Or taller intake so you can reach behind better. Or make the vehicle 2"s longer or an extra 2" recess in the firewall for your hand?? I know I could of thought that out way better. But when you make a motor out of a vehicle, then shoe horn an existing motor into the bay you end up with stuff like this.

I'm not even gonna try the timing belt in this ridiculous thing!

There were a couple bad design issues on 3.0 yota v6s. Despite that, and the water pump design, they are very reliable and solid motors.

Pulled an engine for what I thought was a bad clutch. Turns out the the throw out bearing pivot shaft is so corroded in the bell housing bores it won't budge without a 3 foot cheater bar. This one is going to be fun.

I'm moving stuff around in the garage today. This is something I typically do in early December at worst.

Moving the motorcycle to on front of my car, the snowblower where the bike goes, and I have to move all the crap that is in front of my car to on the shelves and elsewhere.

It's not that fun of a job. Which is probably why it was not done before.

However, it will allow me to put a good stack of wood in the garage, and the snowblower ready to access for snow falls.
