Thats the javelin. Got an old 1991 Johnson OMC 150GT v6 Looped engine. Lift the motor up and it will get louder:rofl: ...or do a lower unit modd and drill some holes in the center section just above the water line!

We're talking about the center section on the outboard motor. Not drilling In the boat ;-)

Nothing like hearing the wet exhaust and those flapper right at the water line on big v8 I/O setups. Those old ski boats always sound sweet.

It's all I, and no I/O on this real ski boat.

It does have mufflers though. The mufflers were optional and look like glass packs, and to be honest it's still loud, but just right. Not deafening like it would be without mufflers. Some guys do run straight copper or SS pipes and then they just get loud. A hole loud. Lol

I had to modify my plans for today. Was planning to build some brush piles for rabbits, but both our goats died. I didn't see them grazing yesterday which was kind of funny but I figured they were just in their sleeping quarters. Wish I had looked yesterday because they were already pretty ripe today. Not sure why they both died at the same time but I'm glad they did. I didn't want a lonely goat out there but I also didn't find them useful so I didn't want to get another in the event one died.

Anyway, it was too hot to dig a hole big enough for two full sized adult goats and it has been dry for a while so the clay soil is like a brick. It was either drag them into the woods and put up with the odor until the scavengers finished them off or put them on the burn pile and immolate them. I opted for the latter. I'm glad I have a front end loader on my tractor. The male must have weighed 150 pounds.

If you ever want to know what it smells like when Satan has a Halloween cookout, throw 2 maggot infested goat carcasses on a bonfire.

    Yuk, I can't like that.

You do what you have to do though. That's weird that they both died at the same time. I suppose it's too late for a biopsy after immolation.

I'm working on relaxing after being on the lake all day yesterday and then went straight from the lake to our friends' houses for grilling, more drinking, a fire, and some bean bag/ corn hole competition.

I was getting the charcoal going on my grill to cook some steaks and had 3 fire trucks pull up outside. Apparently someone called them and then hung up and they were cruising the neighborhood and saw smoke.
