My dad's neighbor ended bringing his ride on ditch witch over and knocked out the ditch in 30 minutes.

Then me and Dad made the initial connection, laid 40 ft of pipe, then tapped into a T where the garage gutter drain comes in. Then laid another 120 ft of pipe.

    Good Birthday all in all.

His neighbor saved me $75 ($175 to rent the ditch witch and I have him $100) and around 2 hours of work if me and Dad rented one.

We have it all laid out and level. Just need to back fill tomorrow. I'm done today... :)

DexterDay that's a great neighbor and some nice beer money in return for him.

No wonder the lawn looks so lush, top soil looks nice. I need a lawn doctor, do you make house calls?

    Happy Birthday old man

Sorry DexterDay for missing your gtg. But I was packing for my gtg down on KY lake on Sat and the 10-11 hour trip on Sun.

Been working on fishing even though the weather and fish wasnt biting. 5 of us from SC to Ohio and only around 50 fish this year landed. Biggest was just under 20" which is small compared to years past. Bass have to be 15" to keep.

Did cut some up for supper wed night.

Back in Va, took my mother to lunch for her birthday. Spent an hour and 10 minutes in line at DMV getting a title for a truck I bought over 6 years ago and sold to a friend last year. Spent over 4 hours reorganizing a portion of my shed so I can move 2 horse drawn wagons from my mother's tomorrow. Went to my mother's house and loaded up a horse drawn buggy that I am taking to Newport News in the morning. Also met the woman who bought my brother's old house next door to my mother. I will be bringing her some lawn and garden tools tomorrow.

My pond has been over 3 ft low for a couple years. Finally found the broken drain tile (used to be a corn feild ) that led right to the pond.

Put a 320 lb plug in it :) Four 80 lb bags of concrete should do it. I hope. Been a long week and a lot of digging. This hole is just over 48" deep. My arms, back, shoulders, and legs are killing me.

I run a 272 today for a bit and milled a 9x9 cant of ash. Had too much checking to saw for lumber so this is the best use I can think of for it. VP fuel and K2 smells pretty good together.

Moving horse-drawn Studebaker's out of my mother's garage to their new locations. I think Forage Farmer has a picture of the one that he helped me unload.

Mowed and weed whacked for about 4 hours today. Then washed the camper and truck. Rode 4 wheelers with my daughter and washed them and then took her on a daddy daughter date to dinner and a movie.

It takes forever to wash this thing but it needed it before our upcoming camping trip.

That thing looks like a screamer now, nice work. That 555 I got from you has been my go to saw and puts a smile on my face every time I fire it up.

Good times and met with an old friend. Been 20 years since I seen her. My wife is on the right and Grade school friend in the middle.

    Yup, I do Guido Salvage

I also got to see the dump truck load of chainsaws. Even bought a couple out of it.

Got an interesting lesson on Studebaker's.

I wanted one of his Oliver track loaders, but didn't let on.

You really would have liked the one behind the stack of lumber, it has a 4 in 1 bucket.

HittinSteel I found a nice fit for that 20" 3/8 GB bar I got off of you today. Just finished this craftsman 3.7 60cc. Only seen 3 of these so far online including this one.

It's steamy here today. Windy too.

I got my weed whacking done. Now on to building a new center rear floor section for my ski nautique. The one it had lasted 13 years. I apparently didn't epoxy/ fiberglass resin it enough. I was able to strip the carpet off so I can reuse it.
