What was supposed to be an easy day of cleaning the drain tile? Has turned into renting a ditch witch and laying hard pipe. The black drain tile was smashed/broke in 4 spots. To much work to have it happen again. Plus it was only about 8" deep.

Me and pops are going to do it right. But it's going to take a few days and a lot more work. What better thing to do on your birthday :)

gee, well today, drove 125 miles back down towards Woodstock replaced a wheelbearing, missing a 17mm, socket in my tool box :headbang:.. 20 years from now when nephews are all grown up all my tools will be where I leave them. Boys will be busy and I will miss them... so drove to west Lebanon bought right size wrench and replaced wheel bearing loaded trailer and got Ideal steel to house... 3 hour job that took 3 days.. decided to have a drink...
a day buddy stopped by to borrow trailer to help mutual friend who is disabled he got her a new washer and easier to put on trailer than in back of truck...so he brought his pallet forks over and stove went from trailer to garage... we will finish later. as wife asked me to take little one to 4 h. so IS is in garage I left at 6 it's 4 and I am thinking it's o-beer thirty... but not yet as I got to drive daughter.. OK maybe 1. I know pics right well that will have to be later

Better to fix it once than have to mess with it for the next 10 years. And happy birthday!

Off to find the baler. Good thing this hay needs a few more hours to dry.

Looks good Certified106, did you strip the old off, power wash or just go over top?

Scrubbed the whole thing down with soapy water and bleach. Then just rolled a new coat of Olympic Premier Transparent stain over top. I had the stain tinted mahogany.
