    One other element of grinding is you can get soft and hard wheels. With a soft wheel (resinoid) you can take off less material and produce a finer edge than the hard (vitrified) wheel materials and harder to accidentally overheat the tooth.

    I'm not positive what my current grinder wheel is but I think it's the harder one. I just ordered one more of each and plan to use the resinoid for touching up and removing minimal material.

    Nice to see I'm not the only one with those skills lol. Even with a filing guide. It's frustrating.

    The guide makes me better, but not a whole lot.
    I thought I was doing well for a while, until the rounds started looking like ice cream scoops.:eek:
