    Wow... Our Honey Locust when freshly split smells sweat almost kinda of like a cantalope or Honey dew... and its almost pinkish red tint to the inner wood. In the spring my two Honey locust when it starts producing Pollen... Will smell very sweet when walking by, its pretty cool, took me a while to understand where that smell was coming from....

    The HL I've processed is more yellow/white (light colored) too...never seen any pink/red stuff...
