Rough day at work. I messed up a $325 subwoofer. :headbang: I tried to stop at job but over poured a lil.

And chaser. Man, this rum is the best I’ve had.

    That sounds really tasty.

My wife just brought me out a nice cold point special lager as I was stacking the load of ash and Honey locust I had brought over in the trailer after mowing on Saturday.

It’s great. Highly recommend. Definitely not overly sweet and just a pinch less than the NY beers I’ve been drinking. Packs a heck of a wallop too, lol.

Visited Big Hill Ciderworks this past weekend mainly for the food truck that was there. Stocked up on some of their fine drink too. Filled the large growler with Cranberry flavored.

This was recommended to me about 4 years ago. Haven't tried much else since then.

That one I posted a while ago, I can’t imagine better, but I’ll definitely try the new suggestions. If you haven’t, give it a try.

The Bunbu is good. I have the Dos Maderas on my radar now to try to find.

Only issue is I'm not a straight liquor drinking person. I like rum with cherry coke, sometimes with lime added. I used to just get bottom shelf, but the wife talked me into getting better quality...so I'm bougie and get Bacardi now....

It's solid rum. That's for sure

    Bacardi isn't bougie. Don't sweat it. :)

For a cherry rum and coke, don't bother with better stuff, get admiral nelson cherry rum and mix that with whatever coke / cola you want.

Was drinking Castillo before. Don't know that I've seen the Admiral Nelson round here.

Not having this YET.....but hopefully it tastes alright in late December once I discard the husks, cloves, cinnamon stick & strain the liquid through a coffee filter...My first attempt making Nocino,so we shall see how it turns out...Commercially made Nocino isnt found around here, even at the big stores & to order it costs $25-40+ per bottle plus shipping. For around $15 I could buy the ingredients (2 liters cheap vodka),already had the sugar,I use 1 cup per quart jar, already had the whole cloves & cinnamon sticks. And the green, immature Black Walnuts were from the 2 big old trees in my backyard. If after 6 months its still a bit strong once filtered,I'll add a little water to the mix to dilute it a little...

Made 3 quarts last Wednesday,1 quart yesterday, have enough of the vodka left in 1 bottle plus the walnuts in a bucket of fresh water in my shop for 1 more jar in a few days. Its turning a dark greenish black (similar to Jagermeister kinda) after being out in the sun a few hours daily.I give each jar a couple good shakes a couple times daily. After about a week of being outside,I'll bring them in to be stored in the basement cupboard until mid-late December or so.
