    Wife and I arrived at the woods and the A frame was pretty cold. Warming up, and opened a bottle of French Lick Winery red. Her boss bought cases of the stuff.

    very sweet. Remaining bottles will be re-gifted.

    there is a Swiss winery in this Swiss county. Hoping to pick up some Gluhwein, for our holidays, and bring to a German staff member, and a friend who has a German wife.

    I picked up a bottle of Jim Beam Black extra aged bourbon. Tried it last night and didn't exactly like it straight. What would be a good mixer with this?

    Did you drink it warm or with ice? I find I like my whiskeys stuck in the freezer. But it helps when you have a extra refrigerator hanging around.

    I will try it on the rocks and see if I like it any better. Southern Comfort is good straight, not even chilled. Knob Creek smoked maple bourbon whiskey is good straight.

    I use a splash (OK, maybe a touch....) of jim beam devils cut in coffee on rare occasion. Today will be is on of those occasions!
