The wife not being much of a drinker asked me to make her something. Evan Williams peach and Sprite it is. She’s liking it! Woodford Reserve for me.
Naw, just drink it the way its bottled. It's weak enough! I do pour it into a glass though. How's your weather holding out?
To the north and west of me, they got up to 9". About 5" or so in West Bend which is where my wood lot is, and I went up there to snowblow our elderly friends driveway and sidewalks clean. It was wet and heavy snow. Here, in ozaukee cty, by the lake, we had snow, but none stuck to our black top drive. Just on the grass and such. About 2" here. Hayden is enjoying his first real snow that stuck.
I had a couple of those Busch light apple beers over summer. They were very good for cheap beer. Like an apple "lager". Just a hint of apple flavor. It was a limited edition thing, but they really need to bring it back as a permanent thing. Good hot summer beer. Busch Light Launches its First Flavored Beer
I was sipping on some Boilo last night. They dont sell the whiskey that's traditionally used in the recipe here in NJ (even though it's distilled in NJ) so I used Seagrams plus a pint of Everclear to increase the octane level lol. It's very similar to a hot toddy.
Last year my wife started making hot buttered rum. If you use good dark rum, it's delicious. We've been using plantation original dark rum. It's great for the price point. $18 a 750ml around here.
sipping some apple pie moonshine that my neighbor traded me for boilo. I started this afternoon with a Snapple Screwdriver (Snapple Orangeade and Vodka, yeah i made that up lol). Merry Christmas everyone!
I enjoy some rum out in the shop now and then after supper. I like the fact that it doesnt mess me up like whisky would.
