Had to go to the liquor store the other day, figured in case i had to be holed up I'd get prepared. Been a long while since I'd had a rum and cherry coke. Used to get the bottom shelf stuff, Castillo....ould have been on the floor but probably a rule against that. Sprang for the $$ stuff this time haha, you know, big crisis so why not. Had to crack the seal the other night. Thankfully I have gotten to the point where I'm good with just one drink, and not even a strong one.

Not many weekends left like this. Everyone else here is in bed and I’m enjoying some quiet time watching the stove with a glass of Makers Mark 46! One of my favorite parts of the winter season.

Thirty some years ago we lived next door to an elderly widow and I would do small jobs for her. She kept a bottle of Kesslers in the freezer with a couple of shot glasses. When I would do something for her she would always pour us a shot, that was always special. So I keep a bottle of Kesslers in the freezer most of the time.

Think you'd be interested in trading for a slightly used bottle of R&R 1.75 liter Canadian? :smoke:

    Didn't think so...

Mmm point special lager tonight. The first one tasted great with the NY style pizza.

They've been tasting gooder since then too.

I bought a sixer of a craft beer. Sounded good.

Then I had one. It tasted like coffee and extra good. It was an Amber. It didn't have tasted like a IPA Porter.

Sometimes a good solid beer is what you need. I'm glad lagers are getting to be popular again.
