Yeah its good stuff, they make a bunch of different varietys and there all pretty good.I mainly drink the premium light but a little while back I had the Oktoberfest and it was good and this past summer I had a case of the summer wheat and that was excellent I thought.

You can't get yuengling around here. It's good beer, I have it when I go to Florida, but we have a ton of great beers and breweries in or state and neighboring states. That reminds me 2 years ago the wife and I stopped at Three Floyd's brewery en route to the motogp races at Indianapolis. Their beer wasn't available anywhere in the Milwaukee area, and I heard great things about it. It was past the headache of Chicago land traffic, and a good place for me to let the wife drive. The place was so packed there was a huge line just to get into the store to buy beer. We originally wanted to get a meal there but the restaurant's wait time was even worse than the beer shop line. Later that summer, you could get it on tap at a couple of the local bars, and now you can buy it in one of the local grocery stores. But that's because we are not to far away.

Yuengling is our local beer here,I live about 20 miles from Pottsville.I remember kinda being shocked when I saw it being sold out of state while we were on vacation, its seems like it wasn't long ago when people outside of schuylkill county pa. had no idea what a yuengling was.lol

Canadian whiskey or "rye" as most call it here is usually lighter and smoother than Scotch whiskeys and bourbons. Better rye is nice straight over ice, and all are good mixed with your favorite soda. Ordering a Rye and Coke here is the Canadian equivalent to ordering a JD and coke south of the border. Ginger ale is another common mix with rye. Similar to the new versions like honey JD, a few of our distilleries have made our Canadian whiskey more Canadian by adding maple syrup. A little sweet for my liking.

Talking about Maple Whiskey reminded me that I have a bottle of Maple Whiskey in my freezer. It pours like maple syrup when kept in the freezer and just like maple syrup...it taste great on ice cream :dex:
