What a 15 year old needs to get a man card.. suggestions please

He should know how to take care of himself and household.
Safety, common sense, hygiene, finances, avoid temptations, remain disciplined, household chores including everything related to cleaning and maintaining, cooking, laundry, do not put wants in front of needs....you know? All this stuff could be overwhelming for a 15 year old. The card will get there when it does. Don't worry about it.

I have truly found that life gets easier. Probably because of experience, knowledge, ability, morals, beliefs, choose right over wrong always.

This thread isn't or will ever be long enough to adequately answer the question put forth, right?

 

I was going to go back and edit my post shortly after I posted it, but I decided to leave it as is. Had I edited it, it would have read "What do you think is on a Woman Card?

Now if I were to answer your question, I would be strung up by my toenails and be beaten with an inorganic carrot, because the world would end as we know it. Revealing what is on the Woman Card would reveal the mystery and makeup of a woman, and that must remain secret for all time!

To stand and take your hat off for the national anthem

Hold a door for a woman

Help a senior citizen with a task

Treat those without friends as equally valuable as those who are popular

To do a good task and not need a pat on the back for doing it

To treat nature as the special gift it is

How to remain humble after getting said man card!

 

Just my opinion but I think the boys well deserved his man card already. He obviously is trying to be the best he could become. It doesn't matter what you can or cannot do in life as far as physical skills but about being the best person you are capable of being and taking the extra step to be better. 30 years ago I was told if I wanted something go buy it myself. Best lesson ever. He's on the same track as far as wanting and making the effort to earn it. You are doing a great service to this boy already Canadian border VT but his man card is earned by following your morals. On the daughters front I took the daughters boyfriend goose hunting early on. Told him if he trusted me to go get a couple downed geese. He did and when he got back he was warned he ought to keep that trust because daddy knows all and I won't let on I know. Working so far.

 

He's still young and impressionable now..................and likely the the ner-do-well Father and brother will put some pressure and influence on him. He should do something that'll set him apart from those two.

Becoming a Marine is an excellent way to earning the "man card".
