    Since our woods has been logged three times since we owned it, my trees are not 100 year old huge.
    A Stihl 261 with an 18” bar is my go to.

    Looks just like my oak scores from a couple seasons back. They are about 2.5 hours due south of you. Really is nice to get straight grained trees. Great pic Wes. Bet it's a pleasure to let that saw muscle through cuts. Is it modified in any way?
