    Curious what they are.

I’ve been really curious what the filter housing is rated for flow rate. The numbers I calculate shows I want a filter flow rate of no less than 50 GPM. Near as I can make out, this one is like 25 gpm based on pump size.

the power side of the ram is forced back to the tank by the return side. That plus cylinder intensification is reduced. Just a common thing I see on any make/model splitter. Too many reducers and filter housing sized too small.

Extra support on the end of the log tray out over the tongue, it was a little wobbly before this.
Expansion tank for the tank vent , it had the tendency to push oil out the vent on the return stroke , larger line going to a vapor tank solved this. It would probably work with just a larger line extended above the tank as the vent.
    Install an hour meter.
Wrap the oil filter magnetic sign material to help hold any metallic particles in the filter.

I can try to get a couple pictures next time I am out in the shop.

    hour meter was already planned.

rugged made commented on jake’s video that his is an older design reservoir and since they’ve changed the location of the return. So this part makes sense what you did.

the second hitch was on my radar too. Seen several wood channels that have done this as well.

Since I’m looking at using a Kewanee 500 elevator to load my trailer or bins, I’m not sure if a hitch will be needed. One option will be to split the elevator in half and make two 25’ elevator instead of one 50’.

When fit outdoors I'll properly stack 3 cord of splits that have been randomly piled for a year. Then split another cord and be done with all that.

I have more stuff that needs done than I do time and money. But 2 definite projects are to expand my new wood shed and get the roof on it. The other is rebuild my deck that collapsed under the weight of snow this winter. This will be a major project because the new deck/patio will have to wrap around the front of the house where there wasn’t one and also try to plan for a possible future hot tub.

oh! And I need to get a bunch of firewood processed

I’ve got 5-6’ drifts on the farm keeping me out. Once the yard turns muddy the next couple weeks, I’m done until dry up.

Tomorrow and Friday we are having new carpet put in two of our bedrooms. The floor in the garage is going to be refinished later this spring and a new septic system will get put in later this summer. In between times I will be CSS some wood.

Like many, I have more projects than time.

That said, the spring GTG is the 3rd weekend of April.

I've got boat work to do, on my ski nautique, but I think I'll buy a second boat, a pontoon or deck boat as we've always wanted one. Something used, but decent. It's ok if it needs a little work in it, but nothing that will take me much time. That will allow be to do my nautique at my pace and not miss any boating season.

I'll also be finishing the fence with a wood and hog wire fence, gates etc, but that's at my pace too because I have a temporary t post and wire fence already in place.

I want to get at least some garden in this year. I didn't have any last year.

Maybe I'll buy a boat in Michigan when I go to the gtg? I was going to bring my ATV in the bed of the truck, but I won't even think of that if I'm possibly bring a boat back. Maybe I get that honda xr80 going again?

I have drifts too. Just hanging out inside till things melt in the yard. It will be interesting to see what new mounds of silt mud/sand remains when the drifts melt yooperdave . He'll pressure wash windows, then vehicles as time allows. What a mess.

Find a new job. Got laid off mid-Jan. Almost filled up all the firewood bins. Next I'm gonna start the vegetable garden.

The list is long. I have 3-4 cords of logs to CSS in the wood yard. It all needs to be moved behind the barn. Then a couple hundred feet of fence to put up. Put an alternator in the truck. Build about 6 new firewood racks. Rough in electrical in part of the shop. That ought to do it for a couple weeks.

I too have a long list but number one is keeping the deer out of the yard and most importantly, the three gardens. I'm Ordering 3 more motion activated sprinklers from Orbit to get full coverage of each and I bought a used paintball gun to get them to associate pain with entering the yard. They aren't very scared of us and we live out in the country.

All the things I didn't get to last year plus all the ones I've added since.
Needless to say I never have a blank slate.
